At Rollco, we’re proud to have shaped some of Australia’s most recognisable landmarks, from unique engineering feats to public art that captures the imagination.

For the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, we rolled large 406mm OD pipe with wall thicknesses ranging from 20mm to a groundbreaking 45mm. Custom-made rolls and dies were machined to suit each replacement part, setting a new benchmark for rolling 400NB pipe at such thickness.

Our work also shines on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, where we rolled large RHS sections to form the iconic Olympic Rings.

And in the art world, we brought creativity to life with the ‘Heard at Sea’ sculpture at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, rolling stainless steel flats and bars on edge into elegant elliptical shapes of varying diameters.
